We just got back from 5 days in Florida and had a great time. We spent the first day at Disney World. The weather was rainy and overcast on a Thursday in January and the place was still packed! I cannot imagine how crazy it is in the summertime. The kids had fun and since it wasn’t as busy as usual our longest wait time was about 25 minutes and usually only 10 mins. But overall, I felt many of the rides were a little underwhelming and for the overall cost, I definitely can’t see spending more than a day doing it. I think the kids had just as much fun playing in the rain in the hot tub and pool at the hotel! The next day we drove out to the Kennedy Space Center. It was a nice sunny day and we spent some time playing outside in the playground and then they had some cool areas inside with different space themes. That afternoon we drove to stay with our old neighbors who moved out in the fall. The kids were very happy to all be together again and just playing around the house and in the big backyard. Saturday we went to the beach and enjoy a little sun and sand. The beach is the perfect place to keep kids entertained and they all had fun and got covered head to toe in sand. After a nice dinner that night, we flew back to Denver before the big snow storm was supposed to hit. It was a really fun and relaxing vacation.
On the plane flying out, just me and the kids. They look quite happy on their iPads but only played on them about 30 mins. It was a long 4 hour flight! Of course on the way back with Chris they were happily entertained on them the entire flight!

Very focused on his riding. 🙂
Trying to pull the sword from the stone.
3D movie. Both kids kept reaching their arms out for stuff.
Lollipops on the way out.
Huge sticky mess, but he loved it.
Kennedy Space Center
This clear tube was suspended above ground about 40 feet and it didn’t phase the kids at all. They went around and around and through it and loved it.
Story time on our last night.
Riding home from the airport…successfully exhausted. 🙂
